Ain't that the truth, with Elis and his football friends in Dublin the night before, John captained the show for the first hour and awaited the arrival of his colleague who was feeling the full force of last night's shunting. Normal service was quickly resumed though and attention was turned to the elephant in the room.... Just the small matter of a very shiny award and the title of 'Best Radio' at the Chortle Awards!! No biggie. A huge serving of shame in the well, some horrendous humble brags and a Beta-Bet that nobody could have predicted.... Also, have you got a mate called Eggy?
