Robins Returns, MANTASTIC! & 3p Tip

Show broadcast on 13 January 2018

Robins is back from New York but is Robins the lovely Robin? As in.... Is he actually him?! That's one of the listener theories this week. Also, find out why John wants to marry New York barmaids. There's some lovely Ronnie updates, a tricky Made Up Game & a smasher of a paper review from Elis.

John's introduction of Elis

"Elis' introduction of John: This week has been a tough one for Anglo-American relations. One of Thornberry's brightest stars was taken from us... for a week. Despite being pushed by my agent and parents to see last week's show as a shop window for my own talents I knew the silly sausage to my right has banter running through him like a stick of rock. Ladies and gentlemen, he now refers to the toilet as 'the washroom', the bathroom as the 'washroom', an agony aunt as 'an advice columnist' and he refuses to make eye contact with you unless you're talking about the Brooklyn Sunday brunch scene, he's Mr John Robins."

Conversations and riffs

Robins recounts his trip to New York and recent appearance on Celebrity Mastermind.

Elis James' Light-Hearted Paper Review

Elis' selection of humorous stories from this week's newspapers.

Keep calm like Ken Clarke - with a curry. Tom Hanks can't sing. What men like most about bein' a blimmin' bloke - the Daily Mirror.

John's Shame Well

John frees another listener of their shame.

Texting your friend while on a first date and mentioning it's going well but you don't fancy the other person. Then realising you have sent it to the person you are on the date with.

Made-Up Games

Listeners suggest made-up games that Elis and John can play.

What's My Age? Pick a celebrity and others have to guess their age.

The 'Keep It Session' Sessions

A special section at the end of the podcast for music recommendations.
