I Can't Believe You Haven't Done It

Show broadcast on 11 July 2015

John and Elis coin a new catchprase this week. Sort of. Plus there's absolutely loads of your stories of being told off by celebrities, alongside the usual Winner Plays On, Email Of The Species, and an incredible Humble Brag Of The Week.

John's introduction of Elis

"To my left is Carmarthenshire's fifth tallest commercial radio DJ. "

Conversations and riffs

Elis went to a yoga session and feels worse than he did before it. Meanwhile, John watched cricket - he don't like cricket, he LOVES it!

A listener has been trying to emulate Elis' laid-back, rebellious act of sitting on a low table instead of a chair, as he did when he went backstage at the Blur concert two weeks ago (Episode 72). Elis says it's about acting like a cool teacher who sits on the desk and tells the kids not to study books but to go throw an orange off a bridge... or something.

Footy chat: How Elis and John almost came to harm in a pitch fire at the astro dome where they play comedians' football. And almost a fight at a charity football tournament Elis played in.

The short-lived catchphrase 'I can't believe you haven't done it!'.

48-hour anti-perspirant protection is TOO MUCH protection!

Text-in topic

Listeners text and tweet during the show on this week's topic.

Elis got told off by Ground Force star Tommy Walsh at a charity football tournament. When have you been told off by a famous person? Some absolute crackers here.

Humblebrag

More examples of that scourge of social media, the humblebrag.

As they are broadcasting from a different studio today and are without the actual jingle, Elis and John have to improvise the Humblebrag jingle live.

Managing to use the 10th anniversary of the 7/7 London terror attack to mention that you had a number one album at that time.

Winner Plays On

Elis and John face off in the weekly quiz on topics of their choice.

The goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar (John) v the football manager Bob Paisley (Elis). Elis wins 4-2.
