Podcast intro

Following on from recent discussions on the show: why international rugby union is popular in the parts of the world that it is, and PCDs with synaethesia describe what it's like.

John's introduction of Elis

"To my left, a member of the crew of 'Kind Linda', a 44-person vessel aiming to be the first to cross the Irish Sea from Wales. Carrying grain, mead and a limited selection of livestock, they hope to trade with Irish natives for electronic goods such as Discmen, AAA batteries and solar-powered calculators that are scarce on mainland Wales. It's Petty Officer Elis James. "

Conversations and riffs

John had a good week and is "not fighting against my life" anymore. Meanwhile, Elis had his testosterone measured through Facebook.

Elis' fiancée once painted his favourite foods for him as a birthday present.

Made-Up Games

Listeners suggest made-up games that Elis and John can play.

How Many Bees? Using the website myanimalweight.com one person enters their weight (or the weight of one of the other contestants) and nominates an animal then other players have to guess what quantity of that animal is equivalent to that person's weight. Whoever gets closest to the figure on the website wins the round.

In an impromptu Made Up Game, Elis and John have the duration of two songs to each come up with an A-Z of bands or music artists, and compare.

The 'Keep It Session' Sessions

A special section at the end of the podcast for music recommendations.

Meilyr Jones (Welsh artist) (Elis)
